Knucklehead by Jon Scieszka
The author of The Stinky Cheese Man and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs writes about his wacky childhood. Jon was the second oldest of six brothers and like all young boys they got into lots of strange predicaments. Among other things he writes about his brother who constantly had broken collarbones from their football games, the time he had to make a list of all the bad words he knew for his teacher, and the time he saved up to buy a set of plastic soldiers that turned out to be less than he expected - so he sold them to another brother. As you would expect his stories are hilarious and they make you really appreciate how patient his parents must have been.
