Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Evie has had the unique ability to see the paranormal creature lurking behind a human face as long as she can remember. Since the age of eight she has lived with and worked for the IPCA spotting vampires, werewolves, hags, fairies, and other unusual creatures. When she catches Lend in the IPCA headquarters no one is sure what he is but Evie can see that he is her age and very attractive behind his glamour. Lend is there investigating a creature who has been killing paranormals around the world even though they are usually immortal. Evie wants to spend as much time as possible with Lend but she still has her job to do, an evil fairy to avoid who wants to take her heart, and a paranormal killer to catch who might look exactly like her.
